While several components have been redesigned, the most revolutionary advancements feature within the new Spring Control, taking the installation of Zipscreen Shades to an unprecedented level. The new spring is equipped with an integrated tension counter, and once the fabric is installed, can be tensioned effortlessly using a drill. This innovation offers a safe, fast, and easy solution for installers, making it particularly advantageous when installing multiple shades. 

The additional redesigned components feature a more secure fitment between the reducer and aluminium tube with integrated screw allocations. Improved snap-lock designs have been implemented across the bearing idler, crank adaptor and drive wheel to enhance the assembly process promoting a simple click and connect. Lastly a fabric groove has been added to the reducer resulting in an efficient process now allowing fabric to be added at the end of assembly.
