Wilson Fabrics has gained Greenguard accreditation, signifying the company’s commitment to emissions and pollution reduction.
Peta Fitzgibbon, Wilson Fabrics General Manager, told WFA; “We take our responsibility seriously, to source and manufacture products both ethically and ecologically to our own highest standards, as well as our customers’ expectations.”
“We’re thrilled to announce Wilson Fabrics is now Greenguard accredited. Our Eco-Friendly Fabrics are manufactured in Australia, made from natural materials that do not harm nature and are produced using sustainable practices, which helps improve the environment.”
“Through being ecologically aware of the environment, we have earned UL’s Greenguard Certification, meaning it is certified to be low-emitting and contributes to improved indoor air quality.”
Recognised and referenced by over 400 codes, rating systems, and procurement policies worldwide, Greenguard Certification requires that products meet some of the world’s most rigorous standards for low emissions of volatile organic compounds into indoor environment.
“Wilson Fabrics is mindful of our responsibilities for the environment and we believe in saving the environment by applying all the necessary ecological methods as well as our commitment to sustainability, the economy, society and the environment,” said Fitzgibbon.
