The Maestria 50 RTS is Somfy’s flagship motor for external screens, designed as a universal solution for all types of external screens, including those with automatic catching locks.
The 50mm 240V motor features a star head with six positioning options, giving installers the flexibility to accommodate varying bracket configurations and mounting requirements.
Electronic limit setting allows for high precision, with three available modes: automatic, semi-automatic and manual.
A notable feature is the automatic self-tensioning, which addresses the common issue of fabric sag over time. The system recalibrates after the first 30 cycles and then every 90 cycles thereafter, eliminating the need for return visits to adjust limits in the months following installation.
The Maestria 50 RTS also incorporates smart obstacle and wind stall detection. If the motor encounters resistance, the screen automatically retracts, protecting both the fabric and application from damage.
The motor is also compatible with sun and wind sensors (except for screens with manual locks).
