To Infinity and beyond: Dickson Constant launches extra wide fabrics

ISSUE 77 March 2021

In what is a major leap for the acrylic fabric market, Dickson Constant has launched its Infinity program offering wide widths with exceptional performance.

Available in four widths – 165 cm, 200 cm, 250 cm and 320 cm – and woven from exclusive “resilient” solution-dyed acrylic yarn, Infinity offers category leading resistance and stability over time.

“With a weight and thickness equivalent to standard fabric, Infinity adapts perfectly to existing systems, whatever their size, without the need for additional adjustments,” the company said in its release.

“The ‘Extra Wide’ program reduces the need for stitches and limits often unsightly overthickness – a cause of folds and waffling.”

“Our unique ‘Dickson Resilient System’ technology maintains fabric stability over time and ensures optimal tension despite all the stresses to which it is subject (motorised system, bad weather). This prevents any poaching.”

“Infinity is a highly resistant fabric, usable in both weft and warp directions depending on your production requirements. This use optimizes cutting and saves time in production times for a premium, durable and attractive result.”

Dickson Constant says Infinity can be adapted to all solar protection systems including: retractable systems, fixed awnings, drop-arm awnings, Dutch awnings, pergolas, shade sails, blinds with a zip guidance system and umbrellas

“Available in 19 colours which suit all tastes and requirements and are ideal for residential use,” the company added.
