Luxaflex Window Fashion dealers from across Australia gathered against the stunning backdrop of the Mornington Peninsula for the Luxaflex 2025 Annual Alliance Conference, held from 1 to 2 August.
The event celebrated team achievements while unveiling the new products, fabrics and innovative window treatments set for releasein 2025 and beyond. Dealers from 70 stores nationwide were introduced to the latest innovations and product advancements from the Luxaflex Window Fashions team.The conference also recognised excellence within the network, with top-performing Luxaflex dealers honoured at the Gala Awards Dinner on 2 August.
Setting the tone for this year’s conference, an inspiring keynote speech was delivered by Alisa Camplin, Olympic Gold Medallist and high-performance expert. Drawing on both her athletic and corporate leadership experience, she shared practical strategies for achieving excellence, reinforcing the importance of mindset, preparation, and purpose. Her story of resilience and determination offered impactful insights that resonated strongly with the audience of Luxaflex dealers navigating today’s ever-evolving market.
Celebrating a legacy of Luxaflex innovation, this year’s conference marked a major milestone, 40 years of the pioneering Duette Shades. From humble beginnings in the 1980s to its status today as a global benchmark in energy-efficient shading, the Duette story is one of groundbreaking invention. Its visionary design not only enhanced thermal performance but also introduced a new architectural aesthetic, quickly becoming a market favourite. Today, Duette remains one of the most awarded, trusted and recognised window furnishings solutions in the world.



In addition to highlighting innovative opportunities across the Luxaflex product range, an exciting launch was the introduction of the Luxaflex Dealer Playbook. This powerful resource provides a practical framework designed to empower and support the continued success of the Luxaflex dealer network. The Playbook offers tailored business insights, marketing strategies, sales and product knowledge tools that dealers can use to grow their businesses, strengthen customer engagement, and stay ahead in a competitive market.
Through cutting edge industry insights, consumer research and local expertise, the Luxaflex team continue to develop opportunities across the product range. Another bold step forward in innovation for Luxaflexis the announcement of the PowerView Gen 3 Operable Sloping Top, as well as exciting additions to the external and internal screen and awning categories with Velascreen, the Matera Retractable Shading System and Zeroscreen fabric. This year the conference also focused on the introduction of new launches in the Softshades collection with enhancements to the Luxaflex Pirouette Shadings range and the exciting launch of the Soft Roman Collection.
Retailers were given a first-hand look at the new PowerView Gen 3 Operable Sloping Top, a long-awaited solution for architecturally designed windows. It is thefirst smart shade solution designed to move seamlessly on angled windows up to 60° and offers a sleek approach to a traditionally complex window type, expanding opportunities for both residential and commercial projects.


The team also introduced an exciting new addition to the internal shading category. Velascreen by Luxaflex is a tailored release of the innovative screen and honeycomb system, offering both insect protection and blockout comfort through elegant aesthetics and intelligent functionality. Available in Classic and Prime models, Velascreen is made for use on large-format installations such as sliding or bifold doors and spaces exposed to strong winds or heavy foot traffic.
Excitingly, Luxaflex also unveiled the refreshed Pirouette Collection for 2025. The dynamic update sees over 53% of the collection refreshed, including five stunning new fabrics, three of which expand the ClearView Sheers offering. The collection, which launches this month, September, will bring more texture, clarity and design flexibility, offering seamless coordination within the broader Luxaflex portfolio. Among the updates is Black Onyx, a new addition to the Satin fabric range, designed to drive interest in darker colourways while expanding relevance in designer-driven projects.


Innovation has long been at the heart of success and this year’s conference marked a further milestone with the introduction of two new architecturally inspired solutions in the external shading category. The Matera Pergola is a premium retractable shading system ideal for outdoor rooms, courtyards and premium entertaining spaces andmeets consumerdemand for outdoor lifestyle solutions. The introduction of Zeroscreen, a new external fabric range which offers 0% openness for complete visual privacy, will be available in a curated colour palette that reflects contemporary trends and finishes.
Marking a new chapter, Luxaflex proudly announced the introduction of the Soft Roman Collection, which has been designed to complement the brand’s established curtain range, providing customers with expanded freedom to mix and match within the Luxaflex portfolio. Soft Romans are available in two distinct signature styles – Relaxed Soft Romans and Panel Soft Romansand include a smart integration pathway, ensuring the range is future proofed and fully compatible with the broader Luxaflex smart home suite. Updates to hardware accessories see the introduction of the Oslo Curtain hardware Range in September, bringing enhanced style, flexibility and colours to suit a broad range of interiors and customer preferences.
The conference culminated with the announcement of winners for the Luxaflex Awards program at the Gala Dinner, which acknowledges the successes of Luxaflex Dealers across Australia. The pinnacle announcement was the Luxaflex National Gallery Dealer of the Year Award, proudly awarded to HFT Interiors, located in Kingston, Tasmania. The Luxaflex National Showcase Dealer of the Year Award was awarded to Suttle Shades located in the Illawarra region, New South Wales. An extremely successful and enjoyable night and conference was had by all.
