Dalekit’s Open Day, now in its third consecutive year, once again attracted an impressive turnout from industry professionals with many already talking about next year’s Open Day.
“Originally conceived as a way to celebrate its 25th anniversary, the event has evolved into a must-attend occasion for showcasing what Dalekit has to offer and facilitating meaningful connections with leading suppliers,” Angus Hewitt, Marketing Specialist at Dalekit told WFA.
“This year’s Open Day was our most successful to date, featuring an expanded format designed to enhance engagement and networking opportunities beyond our core suppliers.”
“With 14 suppliers and over 140 registered attendees, the event took on the atmosphere of a mini-expo. Our heartfelt thanks go to Rufftrack for keeping everyone energised with excellent coffee and to Pigout Catering for providing a delightful lunch.”
Hewitt said that throughout the day the entire Dalekit team was on hand, offering invaluable insights and answering in-depth questions.
“Attendees had the chance to witness various demonstrations, including the installation of an automatic awning, adjustments to the pitch guide on the Solitar Full Cassette folding arm, and a showcase of our cutting-edge Jentschmann fabric cutting machine.”
“The latter is a key component in our operations, significantly boosting our output and enabling other manufacturers to purchase cut to size fabrics through our dedicated CLS website (www.cutlengthservice.com.au).”
“This year’s Open Day also featured a special addition: our in-house consultants, who play a crucial role in Dalekit’s business operations. Guests had the opportunity to connect with experts including Joe R., our Team Culture mentor, Dreamstone HR consultants Kylie and Robyn, and Robert from Flying Pig Projects. These interactions provided attendees with valuable insights and potential business growth opportunities.”
The day utilised over 400 square metres of the company’s main dispatch area to host the event before resuming production.
“This space allowed us to provide a range of demonstrations and interact closely with our customers.”
“Our aim was to express gratitude to our suppliers for their support throughout the year, giving them the opportunity to showcase their latest innovations, and offer our customers a platform to pose questions and provide feedback on future product ranges.”
“We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended, especially those who traveled up to three hours to be with us. We also appreciate the dedication of our interstate suppliers who joined us for the day. The commitment from both customers and suppliers is what drives Dalekit forward and paves the way for even greater achievements in the future,” Hewitt said.
