Somfy unveils new 360° virtual showroom

“We are excited to share our latest digital tool enhancement to help our customers promote and sell Somfy solutions,” announced Somfy Oceania’s Marketing Manager Mary Ladu.

“Our new 360° virtual showroom gives end users the opportunity to visualise Somfy solutions in a home environment,” Ladu continued.

“In addition to viewing detailed product information and associated videos, users can also control a range of interior and exterior applications via remote control, the TaHoma by Somfy app or voice control.”

The window coverings will move to the selected position in real-time, while giving users an overview of the benefits of motorisation including natural light management, convenience, energy savings and centralised control with a connected home.

“The customer research journey has changed and that has compelled businesses to accelerate the digitalisation of their core business, including providing them with tools which complement the buying process.

“This tool not only empowers end-users, but also supports our Somfy Experts by providing them with a digital tool to enhance their selling opportunities.

“The operation of the products is seamless, and the controls work just like they would if they were using them in person in one of our Somfy Expert showrooms.

“Building on previous versions of our virtual showroom, we have now added external solutions, and the visual aspect provides a 360° tour of a real-life home featuring Somfy products, as opposed to an animated showroom. 

“End-users can choose from a list of voice commands or even use the ‘my’ button on the remote to immediately halt movement.

“All the information they require is at their fingertips and once they’ve completed their research, they can easily make an enquiry and set up an appointment with their local Somfy Expert.”
