Somfy unveils ‘Make the move’

Launching globally in 2023, Somfy has announced its latest branding and online marketing campaign – Make the move.

The company says it is committed to remaining at the forefront of the industry and the new brand campaign features an updated branding pack which includes new logos, a fresh colour palette, modern visual components and brand manifesto.  

“We’re very excited about the new look branding and impending digital campaign,” says Paul de Salis, Head of Marketing for Somfy Oceania. “It propels us into the future and cements our position as an industry leader”.

The new campaign and branded collateral will be rolled out across multiple digital touch points in the coming months, including YouTube, social media platforms and display advertising networks. Promoting the benefits of home automation and motorisation, the campaign will also focus on generating leads, actively supporting a network of over 270 Somfy Retail Experts.

“Our role as a trusted partner and advisor is to assist our loyal network of Somfy Experts with their online presence and take their digital marketing to the next level.”

The new ‘Make the move’ manifesto is described as a representation of the brand and what it stands for. 

“Somfy supports and encourages professionals and consumers to put life in motion in all living spaces, by choosing automated and connected solutions impactful for humans and with a reduced impact on nature.”

Somfy’s continued commitment to reducing its impact on nature is a direct reference to the business’ ‘Act For Green’ initiative and ‘We Act For A Better Way’ commitment. 

The voluntary approach was developed by Somfy in 2012 and takes aim at reducing the business’ environmental impact through an approach of eco-responsibility to buildings, products and teams. 

The new branded marketing campaign is only just the start of what’s to come for Somfy in 2023. As a gold sponsor of the 2023 SuperExpo event, the brand tells WFA it has big plans to unveil new products and a major announcement at the event, to be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7-9 June 2023.
