Somfy launches wirefree motorised drapes solution

“Somfy is excited to introduce Irismo 45 WireFree RTS, the wireless solution for motorised curtains. The new battery-operated solution is easy to install and conceal for an elegant aesthetic. The motor is also compatible with Radio Technology Somfy (RTS) allowing for control via RTS remotes, app control with Connexoon Window RTS and even voice control through IFTTT!”

Somfy describes the Irismo 45 WireFree RTS as the premium solution for the residential market, holding a curtain weight of up to 45kg. The rechargeable battery means installation is simple and a perfect option for areas where wiring may be a challenge. The motor features a low battery LED indicator for easy maintenance and recharging the battery is only required once per year. The motor is compatible with all types of curtains including pinch pleat and ripple fold. The advanced technology provides smooth motion with an adjustable speed between four options.
