Somfy has unveiled its second generation of Smoove RTS wall switches, for individual or group control of Somfy RTS motorised window coverings.
The wireless wall-mounted controls have been redesigned and now feature a robust and secure battery safety cover which requires a tool to be removed, complying with the updated standard, and mitigating risk for serious injury related to button batteries.
Installers can also place the control into transportation mode with a button on the back, deactivating the front panel actions during transport and therefore saving on battery discharge.
A red or green LED will illuminate on the back of the switch to indicate the on/off status.
Users can choose from single or multi-channel control (1, 2 or 4 channels), all featuring up, My (stop/favourite) and down functions.
The switch is powered by a CR2032 lithium battery, offering up to 5 years of autonomy based on 4 presses per day.
The LED light on the front panel will reduce in intensity as an indicator that the battery needs to be changed.

The Smoove RTS II is available in pure and is compatible with three frame colours in pure (single – included – or double), silver or black.
