Somfy has announced the latest evolution in its home automation offering, with app control of the Connexoon Window RTS hub moving to Somfy’s core application, TaHoma by Somfy.
The changeover offers an enhanced user experience, additional features and expanded compatibility.
“We are delighted to be moving our loyal Connexoon Window RTS users to the latest Somfy app control solution, meaning they get to enjoy a simpler, more intuitive user interface, and new features including pre-set scenes and a customisable favourites menu,” said Nicki Beggs, Product Marketing Executive for Somfy Oceania.
“More excitingly, the evolution provides customers with access to a wider range of compatible Somfy products and opens compatibility to partner brands including Sonos speakers, Philips Hue and Netatmo.”
Existing Connexoon Window RTS users will experience a seamless migration with all their Somfy products being automatically transferred and paired – in the app upon login – with their existing credentials.
All new Connexoon Window RTS activations will take place through the TaHoma by Somfy app, allowing for an elevated smart home experience right from the start.
“Being able to offer forward compatibility was important to us, with the Connexoon Window RTS hub still available for purchase,” added Beggs.
“We have a strong commitment to our customers and in turn, their customers, to continue to provide high quality solutions and migrating our existing users to an enhanced smart home solution is just one way we demonstrate that.”
