Somfy unveiled its comprehensive new smart shading solution to a customers, including Somfy Expert Partners, at a series of exclusive product launch events held in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. At these invitation-only events, guests were treated to demonstrations of Somfy’s new professional tools, the TaHoma pro app and Serv-e-Go, and experienced the bi-directional feedback of the new Zigbee 3.0 motors. Another highlight of the evening were the special presentations from the Somfy Oceania team, including Managing Director Stephen Eggleton and Product Marketing Executive Nicki Beggs, along with guest speaker Paul Detering from SUPA, who shared insights on home automation trends for integration and Zigbee.

The importance of the new Zigbee 3.0 technology protocol was echoed by guest speaker Paul Detering, General Manager of Smart Buildings from Smart Urban Properties Australia (SUPA).

The Somfy offering will work seamlessly with major brands in the smart home space, including Apple HomeKit, which guests received with excitement.”
