Into Blinds CEO Mark Mc Donald tells WFA how Insyte helped drive a faster, smarter sales operation.

Into Blinds is a family business with around 60 to 70 employees in the window coverings industry. At our core, we’re a sales-driven company. That means speed and simplicity are everything to us – especially as we scale. When we found Insyte, it was a game-changer.

Before Insyte, business was all about spreadsheets, slow software, and missed opportunities. We had started out using Excel spreadsheets. Appointments are added straight into calendars, and routes are automatically mapped and optimised through integrated mapping tools to follow the most logical, time-saving path. That kind of smart automation saves us hours every week and maximises how efficiently our field team operates. Everything just flows, and that’s made life so much easier for everyone – especially our sales team.

We’ve also designed our own configurators in Insyte and taken full ownership of how our products are managed. That means the software works around our business – not the other way around.

Reporting is another big win. Once we set it up, it’s incredibly easy to run reports. We make decisions based on real and accurate data. And automating our commission process? That alone saved us hours of work every time.
