As part of Shaw Performance Products’ service improvement strategy, the company is relocating its operational hub in Victoria to new premises in Tarneit, an outer Melbourne suburb close to the port and roadway infrastructure.
“The location isn’t too far from the existing site, so we won’t lose any of our experienced operational team, said General Manager Nick Brice.
“The new site is 15,000 square metres under the roof and has a working height of 9.5 metres, which effectively quadruples the capacity of our current warehouse in Victoria. The premises will also house a state-of-the-art facility for quality control and a showroom for extensive product display and customer training.”
“The investment in these new premises is a sign of commitment to our Victorian, Tasmanian and South Australian customer base. By increasing our footprint, we can receive more containers, hold more stock and be more reactive to customer needs.”
