Automate’s sensors range has expanded with the new AC Wind & Sun Sensor, offering a wired alternative to the popular solar-powered motor accessory. This new sensor offers continuous power supply and uninterrupted operation of outdoor blinds and awnings, ensuring reliable performance in various environmental conditions.
The integrated anemometer measures wind speed and a lux meter measures light intensity, allowing this naturally reactive technology to initiate shade and awning activation in sunlight, providing a comfortable outdoor environment and retraction in the case of high winds for system protection.
Additional features of the solar-powered and wired sensors include an integrated LCD displaying wind speed and lux values, compatibility with all ARC external motors and universal mounting options.
