RICKY RICHARDS’ OUTLOOK MESH PRODUCT: A STAND-OUT FEATURE IN THE NEW COLLECTION

Issue 93 November 2023

Ricky Richards has unveiled an addition to its product line – the Zero Stripes mesh, as part of its 2023 Outlook Collection.

Darren Best, National Sales Manager at Ricky Richards, expressed his enthusiasm for the launch:

“Zero Stripes is not just a product; it’s an innovation designed to transform the way we think about outdoor shading.”

“The Outlook Collection has been Australia’s market leader in outdoor mesh for over two decades, renowned for its comprehensive range of colours and textures. Our commitment to constant development and innovation is what keeps the Outlook Collection at the forefront of performance and functionality.”

Manufactured by Phifer Incorporated, Outlook mesh is “synonymous with quality and innovation” said Best.

“Phifer’s commitment to innovation is evident in initiatives like Dow Ecolibrium and Microban, ensuring that Outlook remains the benchmark for outdoor mesh in Australia.” Zero Stripes is the latest addition to the collection, offering a breathable, light, and easy-to-handle alternative to traditional canvas for external awnings.

“With 0% openness, Zero Stripes provides exceptional weather protection and complete visual block-out, extending outdoor spaces for year-round use,” Best explains.

“This addition aims to enhance energy efficiency by naturally cooling down areas and allowing airflow even when the blind is fully closed. Environmental responsibility is a key focus in the Outlook Collection. “The lead and phthalate-free formulation, along with the use of bio-based Dow Ecolibrium plasticiser, not only reduces chemical emissions but also saves petroleum,” he said.

“The collection is GreenGuard Gold certified, reflecting its commitment to sustainability. Incorporating Microban antimicrobial fabric protection in all Outlook mesh products is another testament to the brand’s dedication to innovation and maintenance ease. “This technology significantly reduces bacterial and fungal buildup, simplifying the maintenance process post-installation,”
said Best.

The collection offers a variety of openness options, including 1%, 5%, 12%, and now 0%, catering to diverse needs.

“With colours inspired by Colorbond and classic combinations in our Outlook Designs and Zero Stripes range, we’re offering choices that align with any outdoor theme,” said Best. Backed by a full 10-year UV warranty and compliance with Australian FR standards, the Outlook Collection is ideal for both commercial and domestic environments.
