PANOVISTA MAX CORNERS THE MARKET FOR SLEEK DESIGN

ISSUE 69 NOVEMBER 2019

Renson’s Panovista Max corner sun protection looks set to draw strong market demand due to its unique ability to cater neatly and elegantly to corner windows.

According to Renson, the product took out the prestigious Red Dot Product Design label last year, for good reason.

“Thanks to Panovista Max, large glass-on-glass corner windows or corner sliding windows can now also be fitted with sun protection screens without disturbing cables or guiderails in the corner. The two cloth pieces are driven by one motor, and they zip up in the corner while lowering. The panoramic view is retained, even when this wind-resistant (up to 90 km/h) sunroof awning is extended, while the inside temperature is not allowed to get unsustainably high from the sun.”

“The minimalist design of the Panovista Max fabric sun protection screen is pleasing for its almost invisible mechanism and high degree of practicality,” said a statement from the Red Dot Jury at the time of the award in 2018.

The screens are designed contribute a sleek look to any home. “Fabric boxes and side channels are hidden behind the plasterwork. Nothing of the view outside is lost, even with the screens down, through the glass-on-glass corner window. The Renson Panovista Max sunscreens zip together at the corner when left down, meaning there are no channels or cables visible at the corner.”

Meanwhile Renson’s Healthbox 3.0 ventilation system and associated control and visualisation app complement window coverings products by enabling the provision of superior air quality.

Recognised with the German Design Award 2018 in the Excellent Product Design Energy category, the product was described by The German Design Council, as “a smart, fully autonomous ventilation system that provides fresh and healthy air in every home.”

The new generation, on-demand ventilation system communicates with the user through the Healthbox app. Thanks to the integrated sensors that continuously measure moisture, CO2 and/or VOC content, the Healthbox 3.0 can adjust the ventilation level as required. The app shows ventilation activity and air quality in real time at different levels.
