Over the years, Boston II, Broome II, Concord II and Tuscany II have established themselves as Wilson Fabrics’ core range and our customer’s favourite designs.
“These four core ranges of block-out and translucent blind fabrics have stood the test of design with their unique textured designs, with most retailers in Australia having sold these designs in,” explains Wilson managing director Chris Sencek.
“Following the launch of our six new designs named after Australian locations last year, we’ve decided that it was time to update the core range and give our very much-loved designs a colour re-fresh. We dropped the II and re-launched these four designs with new colour palettes.”

The new Boston, Broome, Concord and Tuscany have up to date colour palettes that will be still viable in years to come. Each design has between seven to 10 new, fresh and vibrant colours, more in line with today’s trends.
“The new versions of our core range still come in block-out and translucent, and are still made locally, in our mill in Wangaratta, Victoria. Being Australian made is clearly something we’re extremely proud of and sets us apart from the competition,” Sencek says.
“Our mill has gone through a facelift over the past few years to ensure that our product standards and manufacturing processes stay at the highest level. In addition, we’re also working with higher quality yarns and these changes can be seen throughout our new fabrics. They are more robust and have greater colourfastness, consistency and performance.”

The new core range is 100% polyester and the width of our rolls ensure 290cm of usable fabric.
They are all protected by StainProtect which repel stains and spills, fade resistant, fire retardant and PVC and Lead free.
The block-outs also feature our Pitch Black coating that surpass Australian standards and protected from ultraviolet (UPF50+ Sun Protection).
“The core range is now fully completed and stocked in our warehouse, sampling is now available for the Australian market. The new range will be launched in the US in a few months where it’s highly expected,” Sencek adds.
