Luxsol’s business relationships prove a winning formula

Issue 94 January 2024

Australian shutter specialist Luxsol continues to turn in an impressive performance driven by strong business support and relationships.

“It is crucial for businesses to stay abreast of the latest trends and continually assess the changing needs and expectations of distributors,” Luxsol told WFA.

“Regular communication and feedback mechanisms with distributors have provided valuable insights into what trends are most relevant and attractive in the current market environment.

From PVC to a combination product to 100% timber, Luxsol has customers covered. Luxsol’s range includes Australian Made Poly100AU as well as an extensive imported range from its parent company including Poly100, Nexus50, Durawood100 and Woodland100.

The company added that engaging with new distributors is a crucial aspect of growing a customer base, increasing market penetration and revenue. To attract and build successful relationships with new distributors, Luxsol has been mindful of considering a number of key principles on its journey.

“Quality is fundamental to Luxsol. We do not have the size or resources of our competitors but we can be nimble and responsive if things go wrong. Luxsol is also a brand created to portray a positive image, with a reputation appealing to potential distributors. Luxsol is associated with quality, reliability, trustworthiness and customer satisfaction.

“We know our distributors needed to see a clear opportunity for profitability when partnering with Luxsol. Offering competitive pricing allows our distributors to create favourable profit margins.

“Being able to visit a showroom and brush up on product knowledge and market trends has enhanced our distributors’ effectiveness in promoting and selling Luxsol products. Distributors also appreciate a supplier that can meet delivery timelines and maintain product availability. A streamlined and reliable logistics and supply chain process has been crucial for Luxsol.

Not selling everything to everyone has also been critical in Luxsol’s growth. “Distributors invest time and resources in developing the market. They don’t want to have to worry about direct or indirect competition from their supplier. Luxsol does not retail.

The company adds that open and responsive communication has been key in building strong relationships. Timely responses to inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing support have demonstrated a commitment to collaboration.

Additionally, high on the agenda for Luxsol is to enhance the efficiency of its distributors’ operations by providing technology solutions.

“Luxsol is focussed on building long-term relationships rather than short-term gains. We want to instil a confidence in distributors and foster loyalty, which goes both ways. Distributors who have partnered with Luxsol can be confident that with the backing of a parent company as we grow, that we are financially sound and able to sustain long-term partnerships.

“Luxsol has proven its responsiveness by introducing items its customers have indicated are required. A business that is innovative and adaptable to market changes is appealing to distributors. This includes embracing emerging trends, listening to feedback, introducing new products and adjusting strategies based on market dynamics.”

“To sum up, Luxsol has built the fundamentals for long term success and welcome distributors to join them on a journey of growth and partnership.”
