Luxsol has launched Luxal100 aluminium external shutters in response to key areas of demand from customers.
Luxsol co-director Cassie Yang said; “Luxal100 has been designed with feedback from the market and addresses limitations in some current offerings.”
The range features options such as headboards and sideboards made from aluminium, tracking systems for wider openings, frames for ease of installation and the channel installation method to fix shutters in place but still have operable louvres.
Luxal100 also has options such as infill pieces to hide unwanted gaps between panels, D moulds for bi-fold systems, flush bolts, blade stays and wider panels.
“At the recent R&T show in Stuttgart we saw a huge demand for aluminium shutters, with several European customers waiting eagerly for the release of Luxal100. “We know we’re on a winner based on the feedback we received at the show”, Yang said.
Luxal100 is made from marine grade aluminium alloy, with only stainless steel components used to join profiles. Aluminium alloy is known for its excellent properties for architectural applications and is powder coated for aesthetics and performance.
Yang said attention to detail and premium quality were hallmarks of the new release.
“We’ve seen a trend in the market with companies reducing the wall thickness of the aluminium to lower the price – or increase suppliers’ margins. By contrast, Luxsol has not tried to cheapen the product by reducing wall thickness as this compromises the integrity and safety of the product.”
