Luxsol launches LOOP: A faster path from order to delivery

Issue 105 November 2025

Luxsol has reimagined the shutter ordering process with the launch of LOOP, an in-house developed online system that generates instant drawings and pushes orders straight into production.

The result? Faster approvals, greater accuracy, and a seamless link between retailers and manufacturing.

In an industry where lead times and precision are everything, Luxsol has taken a bold step forward with the launch of its new Online Ordering Portal — LOOP.

Developed entirely in-house, LOOP is set to transform how retailers and installers order plantation shutters. What makes it remarkable isn’t just that it’s online — it’s that it delivers instant, accurate drawings the moment an order is placed. No more waiting days (or in some cases, a week) for technical drawings before an order can move forward. With LOOP, that step happens immediately.

For years, the process of ordering custom shutters has involved a frustrating delay: measurements are submitted, drawings are manually generated, and only then can production planning begin. Luxsol’s LOOP changes that completely.

By automating and integrating the drawing process within the order interface, LOOP converts what used to be idle time into production time. The system validates measurements, creates precise CAD-style drawings, and sends the order directly into Luxsol’s manufacturing queue.

“LOOP isn’t just a digital form — it’s a faster, smarter way of working. It turns the waiting game into production time,”
Megan Wu, a director at Luxsol, said.

“Speed and accuracy have always been difficult to balance in custom manufacturing,” explains Wu. “LOOP brings them together. It gives our distributors immediate visibility, reduces back-and-forth corrections, and gets every job into production sooner.”

For retailers, that means orders can be finalised faster, jobs can be scheduled with confidence, and customers see their shutters delivered more quickly — all with greater consistency and fewer errors.

Unlike most industry tech rollouts, LOOP wasn’t built by a generic IT contractor or adapted from an existing platform. Luxsol’s team — made up of both experienced shutter manufacturers and in-house developers — built it from the ground up.

That insider perspective shows. Every aspect of LOOP reflects the nuances of the window furnishings trade — from handling complex frame configurations and split panels to managing colour selections and special instructions.

“Because we developed it ourselves, we weren’t limited by off-the-shelf software or someone else’s idea of how shutters are ordered,” says the spokesperson. “LOOP was designed for real-world use by people who actually order shutters every day.”

The ability to instantly generate accurate drawings isn’t just about convenience — it’s about confidence. LOOP provides a clear, visual representation when required of each order before it’s submitted, minimising miscommunication between distributors and production teams.

Luxsol has reduced the potential for costly revisions later in the process — something every distributor and installer will appreciate.

The name LOOP is designed to reflects how the system works. Orders, drawings, and production communicate seamlessly in one continuous cycle. Once an order is confirmed, it’s automatically queued for production — no waiting, no duplicate data entry, and no room for misinterpretation.

“Luxsol’s philosophy has always been to combine craftsmanship with innovation. LOOP is a natural evolution of that approach — a digital tool that enhances efficiency without sacrificing the quality or attention to detail Luxsol is known for.”

“With LOOP now live and already in use by their retail partners, Luxsol plans to continue expanding the system’s features. Already providing real-time order tracking, Luxsol will continue development to delivery scheduling, and integration with quoting platforms.”

“As the industry continues to evolve, LOOP positions Luxsol and its partners at the forefront of a faster, smarter, and more transparent supply chain.”

“It’s not just an online portal. It’s a direct link between imagination, design, and delivery.”
