Industry to meet in person at SpecTex22

After a number of cancellations due to COVID-19, the Specialised Textiles Association is holding its annual trade exhibition and conference SpecTex22 on 30-31 July and 1 August 2022 at Doltone House, Darling Harbour, Sydney.

The Blind Manufacturers Association of Australia (BMAA) is also holding a number of business sessions at the expo on the Monday 1 August, including an update on the National Construction Code, a WincovER Presentation, a BMAA General Meeting and a training update.

Exhibitors at the trade show include Ricky Richards, Somfy, HVG and Shaw. 

Ben Hayek from the Shaw Performance Team says he is looking forward to catching up with the industry in person.

“This will be Shaw’s inaugural attendance at the SpecTex Expo, giving us the opportunity to showcase our range of External Shading Solutions, designed specifically for Australia’s harsh climate.”

“Products on display will include our versatile Side Retention System, Habitat Program: Vertical Awning Systems and Folding Arm Awning options, presented in made to measure kit form ready to skin.

“This is perfect for a manufacturer whether experienced in the outdoor market or launching into outdoor products this season.”
