In response to increasing customer demand and evolving market needs, Dalekit has launched two new product lines to its window furnishing range: Ozroll Roller Shutters and a fully serviced Curtain Program.
Following a recent visit to Ozroll’s facilities in Adelaide, Dalekit has added Roller Shutters to its product lineup. This addition reflects a growing need from end users who are seeking both solar protection and the added benefit of security that roller shutters provide.
“Shutters have been in the back of our minds for a number of years,” says Dalekit general manager Joanne De Silva.
“We’re excited to now be able to meet that demand with a product backed by the innovation and quality Ozroll is known for.”
To support this expansion, Dalekit has reconfigured its manufacturing facility to accommodate a new automated slating machine, cutting saws, and dedicated assembly benches. This investment ensures an efficient, high-quality manufacturing process for the Ozroll range, delivered locally in New South Wales.
“Ozroll CEO Chris Parkinson graciously spent time with Dalekit during our visit and tour to the Adelaide Manufacturing facility.”
Parkinson in turn commented: “Partnering with Dalekit aligns perfectly with our goal of delivering reliable, Australian-made roller shutters across the country. Their commitment to quality and market knowledge makes them a valuable manufacturing partner for NSW.”
To compliment the growing internals range, Dalekit is launching its long-awaited curtain program, a response to years of customer enquiries and market interest. The company has taken a thoughtful and measured approach to ensure the offering meets the standards its clients expect.
“We’ve been approached countless times about adding curtains to our range,” explains De Silva. “The challenge was finding a workroom partner we could trust to deliver the level of quality and reliability we’re known for.”
Dalekit has now partnered with a respected workroom and is collaborating with Maurice Kain Fabrics to ensure a broad, stylish, and accessible selection for clients. This program will offer tailored curtain solutions with reliable lead times and competitive pricing, all while maintaining the high service standards Dalekit customers rely on.
Dalekit feels lucky to be a new member of the Basford Brands Family. A recent visit to the Basford Brands warehouse in Geelong was the final piece of the puzzle in terms of Dalekit feeling confident in offering both the internal roller blind Four Families range as well as the Maurice Kain range of curtain fabrics.
A personal guided tour through the facility with the company’s General Manager Michelle West showcased the rigorous testing done on the entire range of products, which was a testament to the quality and professionalism of the entire business.
With these two strategic additions, Dalekit is well-positioned to serve as a one-stop solution for window furnishing professionals across Australia. The company continues to innovate and evolve, ensuring its product offering grows alongside customer needs and industry trends.
