Coulisse introduces new concepts at R+T Digital 2021

Coulisse has launched a brand new motor range with Apple HomeKit technology and presented its innovative textile collection, Living Beauty, at R+T Digital 2021.

The digital trade fair had visitors immerse themselves in a world of window coverings with interactive catalogs, inspirational videos and webinars at the Coulisse virtual booth.

During the first digital R+T trade fair, Coulisse successfully launched a range of motors with Apple HomeKit technology, in collaboration with smart home specialist Eve Systems from Munich, Germany. The range is an extension of the Coulisse smart automation concept MotionBlinds and aims at making motorized blinds accessible as a mass-product.

The company says the motors allow for super easy installation, programming and control of the blind with your iPhone.

“Thanks to the Eve software, this new motor range is a game changer in the interior window coverings market,” says Christiaan Roetgering, owner and CEO of Coulisse.

“The simplicity of both installation and use is unmatched. All complexity is eliminated, and the installation time drastically reduced.”

“Combined with the fact that you don’t need a hub anymore this offers major cost advantages. It opens up the way to make motorized blinds available to a broad audience and widely embraced as a product that brings joy and value to everyday life in the home.”

The motor range, which will be available over the course of this year, was received enthusiastically by both visitors of R+T Digital 2021 and various media, including global tech blogs.

Coulisse also launched Living Beauty, a timeless textile collection inspired by the beauty of the world. The concept centers around sustainable and tactile materials and includes recycled fabrics, refined textures and luxurious velvets. With the concept, Coulisse presents conscious possibilities for all product groups that allow for either making a bold fashion statement or creating a stylish natural feel in the interior.

“At Coulisse, we see every reason for a return to elementary values and design principles,” says Creative Director Catharina Idema.

“The right mindset and a fresh approach to minimalism brings exceptional value to our lives. Our design philosophy aims to do that. Living beauty is telling us to be kind for the earth, inspired by the elements and design for recycling.”

“As we want to be more thoughtful about what we add to this changing world, our focus will be on less and better, yet with an everlasting sense of beauty. We will add well-thought products to the Living Beauty concept throughout the year.”
