A Brisbane-based window furnishings retailer has come up with a solution to the issue of excessive lead length and poor cable placement for wired motorisation systems.
Christian Wexselblatt, of Cuchi Window Covering Specialists in Brisbane says his patented Cable Manager connection and concealment device offers a safe and simple pre-wiring solution to protect and insulate electrical blind connections as well as providing easy and safe access to the inline connector when needed for blind maintenance.
“Onsite retailers and installers are often presented with trades that are not familiar with automated blind connections. These situations often lead to blinds being overlooked and ultimately considered too late in the process,” Wexselblatt told WFA.
“The Cable Manager takes the confusion away and enables motorisation connections to be neatly fitted out prior to installation.”
“The Cable Manager comes with a template illustrating the preferred placement in relation to the blind brackets. You or your client’s installer can plug and go. No more time wasted dealing with excessive lead length or incorrect cable placement.”
Wexselblatt said that the Cable Manager enables pre-wiring for any brand motor and can be used for a flush ceiling or wall mount.
