With Louvolite promoting the recent launch of the Allusion Vertical Sheer range of fabrics, Michael Shaw at BM Blinds has been eager to hear from Louvolite’s Mark Spokes.
Michael says he has always respected Louvolite as a long-term supplier of fabrics and components over the years.
He told WFA he had been thrilled to receive a beautiful glass memento celebrating over 35 years of business with Louvolite.
“Our suppliers are a crucial part of BM Blinds’ ongoing success and being recognised by Louvolite for this achievement has been very humbling.”
More recently, he confirmed: “In 2024, the focus at BM Blinds has been to strongly support the newer generation of Vertical Sheer fabrics that bring unique ranges with a colour palette that is right on trend.”
Louvolite’s Mark Spokes confirmed that BM Blinds is a long standing customer with Louvolite and recently ramped up volume with Louvolite’s Allusion fabric range.
“BM Blinds is a quality manufacture of vertical sheers, and is exactly the sort of business Louvolite wants to be associated with.”
Louvolite, which manufactures blind components and fabrics in the UK, recently launched brand new A5 swatches boasting a range of premium fabrics, designed to be unique and encourage more profitable sales, alongside a Roman fabric soft cloth range.
Mark explained that he joined Louvolite some 15 years ago in the UK and was posted to Australia last year, where the Louvolite depot has been established since 2001. He is working to help increase growth and help boost profits for customers in the Australian market.
“In my early days and weeks after my move to Australia, both Michael and Michelle at BM Blinds made me feel welcome and have been very helpful to me and the business. Working together, we have created new opportunities,” he said.
