Shutter retail focus: Norman’s Training Academy

As part of Norman Australia’s ethos of seeing its retailers as partners rather than dealers or distributors, Scott Rancie – Marketing Manager, tells WFA the company’s approach to preparing its Retail Partners for success is with hands-on, practical learning.

“That’s why Norman’s Training Academy leads the industry in retailer certification and training. Beginning with a two-day, immersive certification program, retailers gain in-depth knowledge of Norman and our whole product range. 

“Our Training Specialists also provide practical sales and ordering training, as well as the opportunity to physically handle all products. Retailers that have completed certification may register for our advanced sessions. Here they gain real-life experience selling and installing Norman products using our industry leading sample suit.

With purpose-built training facilities in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, most retailers can attend a session close to them, satellite sessions are also held in other locations as needed, Rancie confirms.
