WFA gained a sneak preview of what to expect from exhibitors.
RICKY RICHARDS
Established in 1983, family owned and operated business Ricky Richards is widely regarded as Australia’s leading supplier of specialised textiles, offering premium quality products, along with a commitment to large stock holdings and excellence in customer service.
“This year at Super Expo, the Ricky Richards stand L216 will take expo attendees on a journey through the company’s entire range of textiles including shade and tensile architecture fabrics,” says Ricky Richards Head of Marketing Greg McKinley. “Sun Control products from Ricky Richards are now well known in the market. The Outlook collection, the Docril range and Australian Made canvas Barrington, are the heroes of the Sun Control division. All specifically designed to minimised unwanted heat gain, these products will improve energy efficiency in the home or office. As an added bonus, they are supported by a full (not pro-rata) 10-year warranty, providing confidence in the integrity and longevity of the products.”
Outlook: “For sun control, cool breezes and uninterrupted views, Outlook fabrics are the perfect choice when it comes to blinds and awnings. Not only lead and phthalate free, Outlook uses Dow Ecolibrium in its plasticiser formulation, allowing it to be a cleaner PVC mesh option. Colours include a selection inspired by Colorbond, which means it can be matched with any outdoor theme.”
Docril: “100% solution dyed acrylic, Docril fabrics can be used for awnings, umbrellas, marine projects and outdoor upholstery. The solution dyed process ensures long lasting colour. Docril fabrics are coated with Dupont Teflon and have exceptional resistance to water, high temperatures, chemical reaction, corrosion and stresscracking. The Ricky Richards stand at Super Expo will showcase brand new products, Docril Garden and the elegant external curtain fabric, Albis.”
Barrington: “The Barrington Collection is a stylish set of fabrics that offers modern flair whilst still incorporating traditional aesthetics. This Australian made poly/cotton painted canvas comprises three ranges: Colours, which feature the same colour on both the front and reverse side; Artisan, a set of striped designs with a unique grey backing; and Jubilee, offering striped designs with the traditional green back.”
The company is also committed to promoting that a percentage of sales from all Ricky Richards Sun Control fabrics is donated to Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA). These funds support vital research and helps MIA reach their goal of zero deaths from melanoma.
Ricky Richards’ complete range of Marine grade fabrics are applicable to a wide range of end uses.
Jetty: 100% solution dyed polyester, Jetty is waterproof, UV stabilised and is ideal for outdoor umbrellas and all marine projects. The fabric is supported by a five year warranty and available in 10 colours.
Glacier: Glacier is a clear PVC ideal for applications that require light transmission, weather protection and clear visibility.
Docril Nautica: With all the same features as the Docril collection, including a 10-year full warranty, Docril Nautica offers a waterproof solution dyed acrylic option for all marine projects. Nautica’s excellent water-based polyurethane coating presents as a much cleaner alternative to most other waterproof acrylics and polyesters which use more traditional solvent based polyurethane coatings.
Docril Binding: With 18 colours to choose from, this binding tape is used for aesthetic purposes in creating a finished edge on the fabric used for marine projects or awnings.
