Fezer notes that 2024 will be a year of innovation for the company.

 “Looking ahead, we have an exciting lineup of new products slated for release this year, promising even greater levels of innovation and convenience. Our dedication to pushing the boundaries of motorisation technology remains steadfast, ensuring that we consistently deliver solutions that not only meet but exceed your expectations.

“We are excited to announce that all rechargeable battery motors (WSERD30) will transition to 5V USB-C charging within the next three months. This upgrade will significantly enhance the usability and convenience of our motors, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

“Furthermore, our new 1Nm, 2Nm, and 3Nm motors feature Alpha’s patented Coreless technology, making them ultra-quiet and efficient. These motors come equipped with three selectable speeds and concealed antennas, ensuring a sleek and seamless look for your motorised solutions.

Alpha is also introducing the WSERD30 2/31 C matter battery motor, which incorporates Matter technology. 

“By leveraging Matter technology, this motor offers seamless connectivity with various smart home platforms and voice assistants, providing an unparalleled smart home experience,” says Fezer.

“At the forefront of smart home innovation, the integration of Matter and Thread technologies is set to revolutionise the IoT landscape. This groundbreaking combination enables users to control their blinds with a range of smart home devices including Google Home, Apple HomePod, or Amazon Echo. By partnering with the CSA Connectivity Standards Alliance, Alpha ensures seamless integration of IoT technology, harmoniously building a super eco-friendly highway, Alpha stands ready and excited to assist all our customers in fully embracing this remarkable technology, making the transition easy and ensuring they harness its full potential.”

The company is also unveiling the new 50Nm Cassette Awning motor with 24V DC LED output, along with a state-of-the-art remote featuring a dimming function. “These innovative additions are designed to elevate the motorisation experience and provide enhanced functionality and control.”

“For our external screen manufacturers, we are introducing a 20Nm lithium-ion rechargeable motor with internal batteries, eliminating the need for an electrician and providing added safety in installations where 240v could pose a hazard.”

Meanwhile the introduction of the WSER50 G 20/17 Grey Universal, a 20Nm economy motor perfect for external straight drop and zip systems, is, says Fezer, a game changer. Equipped with all the functions of larger Universal motors, including the upwards torque stop feature, it ensures optimal performance and safety. Compatible with RS001 and RS002 Sun/Wind sensors, it automatically detects any potential failures and acts as a protective measure. Additionally, it’s suitable for roller shutters where 20Nm is adequate for operation.

Fezer also points out that all Alpha motors have undergone firmware updates, with new microchips installed to enhance reliability.
