In its eight year history, B.A.C Wholesale has established itself as a market leader that is ready to take on challenges and optimise opportunities.
Size
Size capacity can be as small as 800mm with the Verticali able to reach sizes of up to 7.1 metres in width utilising the Verticali Plus components and up to 4m in drop. We recommend a maximum of 16 m2 however we have seen volumes of products well exceeding that have long-term high-quality results. These can be custom coloured using Dulux powder coat colour range.
Fabric Options
Fabric options are as plentiful as the technical features of this blind. Due to this it can be manufactured using both polyester and fibreglass yarns with a 2 x 2 basket weave, 1 x 1 weave, 2 x 1 weave or the preferred twill weave fibreglass fabric when spans are larger for superior results.
3 headbox profile options are available across the Verticali & Verticali Plus range.
Standard Headbox – Profile 1 Option
The Standard Headbox features a precision engineered bevelled front profile and a robust extruded aluminium rear structure.
Designed with installers in mind, the patented hinged mechanism allows seamless alignment of the front and rear profiles during installation. This innovative feature provides stability, enabling one-person handling without risk of misalignment.
Additionally, pre-drilled start lines simplify the installation process, ensuring efficient and accurate mounting. Its optional integrated self-support track legs make this headbox a reliable choice for secure and lasting installation. It is ideal for installations requiring durability and ease of use, especially in environments where quick yet secure assembly is crucial.
Square Headbox – Profile 2 Option
Engineered for modern design needs, the Square Headbox offers a sleek, linear aesthetic without sacrificing functionality. This lightweight yet durable aluminium extrusion is equipped with the same installer-friendly features as the Standard Headbox, including pre-drilled start lines and a patented hinged profile for easy assembly and installation. Its optional self-supporting track headbox legs ensure secure, seamless track integration, making it a favourite among installers and designers alike.
It is ideal for contemporary projects where design and ease of installation are key considerations.
Colorbond Square Headbox – Profile 3 Option
The Colorbond square headbox provides a cost-effective alternative to the extruded aluminium option without compromising the stylish linear profile of the original square design. Crafted with a heavy-duty, high-pressure cast alloy end caps embossed with the Solare Verticali logo, this headbox is engineered for durability.
Large fixing wings enhance installation efficiency, while the self-supportive leg adaptability remains intact, ensuring both performance and ease of installation.
Ideal for: Budget-conscious projects that still demand a modern, stylish design with robust installation features.
Self Supporting Side Channel
Using a special connection, we can offer self supporting side channels. That means if there’s no fixing for the side channel you don’t need to add a post to accommodate it. The side channel attaches via a connection in the headbox and a special made ground fixing meaning you only have to fix the headbox and the base fitting on the track. Two blinds can butt together and the tracks can screw together making the self supportive track even stronger.
Roller Reducers
Roller reducers are a critical component in any side retention blind. Without them the side zip has nowhere to travel around the roller and the result is “waffling” or “smiles” in the fabric. The Verticali roller reducers allow the side retention zipper room to lay flat, further increasing fabric flatness. Roller reducers are available for all sizes of roller tubes. This is not often seen inside channel blinds, and it is a component of high importance for a superior aesthetic.
Roller Tube Sizing Options
Roller sizing is a critical factor. If it is too small, it will bow and deflect and put waves and smiles in the fabric.
We upsized our rollers, offering 78mm , 85mm and 125mm tube upgrades for wider spans.
Our roller tubes ensure deflection rate is minimalised, giving the fabric the best overall flatness. Having more than one roller on offer allows the retailer to customise the product to the next level and ensures the prefect marriage of roller sizing and fabric selection.
Minimal Stock Holdings
Assuming a manufacturer is already producing external blinds and awnings to take on the Verticali program only 11 products lines are required to secure the initial stocks and get started. Coupled with low MOQ’s, the Verticali program is possibly the most cost-efficient side channel program to get started.
Bottom Rail Deflection
Due to our range of roller tubes and simplified fabric manufacturing techniques these elements all boil down to bottom rail deflection reduction. When a roller tube bows it affects the bottom rail and that affects fabric flatness. Bottom rail deflection is not a problem in this product.
Zip
The specially designed polymer coil zip that retains the fabric in the side channel was custom made. We didn’t use an off-the-shelf weldable zipper which is the common practice. We approached a world leader in this fabrication methodology to help us develop our weldable zip. The chemical engineering was done to develop a weldable adhesive to well exceed the industry standards. The custom woven ribbon was specifically designed to have the correct amount of movement which helps absorb the varying tensile nature of woven mesh fabrics and PVCs. Then we got to work on the coils of the zipper themselves. Our coils and wire gauge in the coils were specifically designed in shape and spacing to provide optimum gliding performance and self-lubrication with minimal audibility and of course, strength exceeding currently available systems.
Top Stops
Top stops were integrated into our side tracks to ensure the bottom rail sits parallel to the headbox when retracted. The nature of woven mesh fabric used is a variation in the weave strengths, bow and skew variables and dimensional instability. It is simply the nature of fabric weaving and when dissected to the micro levels of analysis during R&D our team knew the system had to compensate for these variables. Top stops ensure those variables are combated and allow the bottom rail to hit those stops at the top of travel and pull up against them, ensuring a balanced tension across the fabric weave, which pulls the bottom rail straighter and trains the fabric to sit perfectly, every time.
