With the Convention Centre exhibition space fully booked, Norman organised a pop-up display at the Star Casino over the duration of the SuperExpo. Norman director Matthew English said the venue was the next best option for showcasing the company’s offering.
“The investment made by Norman to organise the pop-up display at the Star Casino really paid off,” he said. “It gave us the opportunity to showcase our latest range of shutters, blinds and shades in a more intimate atmosphere.”
From Woodlore “the democratic shutter for all walks of life “to Ultra “the best and most beautiful shutter in the world” all Norman’s shutter program options were showcased, including the new fourth generation PerfectTilt shutter motorisation.
Norman’s new Ultra shutter program, featuring a generous profile and impressive panel widths of up to 1219mm was a big attraction. Meanwhile, English confirmed Norman’s bi-fold 180 degree AutoTilt shutter installation was also a key drawcard.
“Although the shutter displays were very impressive, I think what surprised most visitors was our range of Portrait honeycomb shades and SmartPrivacy Normandy wood and Performance Fauxwood blinds. Norman’s Portrait Honeycomb shades on display featured award-winning designs, exclusive options and the industry’s leading technology and construction. With over 500 fabric choices, five cell sizes, day and night options plus a multitude of lift systems, including child safe cordless and motorised, visitors were impressed by the one stop shop that Norman offers retailers.”
Visitors were also shown the award winning Norman honeycomb solutions such as SmartFit (great for direct mount on windows and French doors), SmartRelease, Decoflex (providing enhanced room darkening for bedrooms and media rooms), Cordless Top- Down/Bottom Up and Vertical models (ideal for sliding patio doors and room dividers).
The company also showcased the new SmartPrivacy Normandy Wood and Performance Fauxwood blind collections.
“Norman’s wood and fauxwood blinds feature the very special proprietary SmartPrivacy slat design which creates a clean crisp elegant style, enhanced blind closure and the ultimate in privacy with no traditional slot holes. Lift systems included Corded, Coodloop/ SmartRelease and Cordless (available in Oct 19). Also, a choice of decorative headrails was displayed including the Aluminium and PolyDeco valance free models as well as the standard steel headrail dressed in a number of valance options.”
Normandy SmartPrivacy blinds are available in 50mm or the wider 63mm slats in a wide range of durable solid, stain and printed colours expressing the latest trend colours (Normandy Wood 38 colours and Performance Fauxwood 13 colours).
“SuperExpo was a great opportunity for Norman to showcase our latest shutter, blind and shade programs and throughout the three days we received very positive and enthusiastic feedback from all visitors that attended,” said English.
