Curtain treatments continue to be in demand, with recent innovations including motorisation solutions and tracking designed for the ever popular S wave treatment.
SOMFY
Somfy is launching Glydea Ultra – “our best in class just got better.”
Somfy Oceania Product Manager Laurine Massiot describes the new curtain motor as a “reliable, adaptable, robust and discreet” premium solution for residential and commercial projects. With a lifting capacity of 35kg – 60kg, the curtain motor is also ultrapowerful.
“Enjoy the best acoustic performance and watch as curtains open and close smoothly to allow just the right amount of light in, creating a perfect ambiance without disturbing the peace and quiet.”
“The Glydea Ultra solution is compatible with multiple technologies to suit user control preferences and is also connected to meet the needs of smart buildings and smart homes.”
“We are proud to have one of the quietest motorisation solutions on the market,” says Massiot. “With our new Glydea Ultra RTS version, users can enjoy the use of Connexoon Window RTS to create the ultimate smart home.”
OSLO CURTAIN HARDWARE
“As the market for curtain window coverings evolves there is an increased demand for improved track designs and modernisations to meet both decorator and architectural requirements,” says Oslo’s Colin Stephens.
To meet these requirements, Oslo Curtain Hardware will be introducing a number of innovative tracking systems – the Milan Series 50, Venice Series 74, Turbo Series 81 and a 35mm Decorative Track Series 67.
“In the coming months we will also be releasing a new recess track to align closely with European trends. A new extrusion is currently being developed to allow clients to recess the track into the ceiling plaster board. The obvious benefit will be a reduced visual appearance of the curtain track. The recessed track will work especially well with the S Wave heading to achieve a stunning finish.”
“We have two new S Wave Carrier systems that allow us to provide S Wave to our entire range of curtain tracks. These carriers have also been designed to decrease stack back while allowing for faster curtain hanging.”
