Bringing industry together: Ziptrak excited for the future of WSAA

Issue 99 November 2024

The recent rebrand to the Window Shading Association of Australia – formerly the Blind Manufacturers Association of Australia – is off to a great start, according to Ziptrak.

Led by CEO Wesley Fawaz, WSAA is bringing together industry experts to shape the future.

“As a longtime member, Ziptrak is excited about this change, which brings more collaboration and innovation to the broader and evolving nature of the window shading sector. Ziptrak is thrilled to be part of this new journey and attended the first South Australian Industry Social Night on 11 September 2024 at the Maid Magpie Hotel in Adelaide.

Organised by the WSAA South Australia committee, including Ziptrak Managing Director Marc de Maaijer, it was a great chance to reconnect with Ziptrak’s network and meet new faces.

“In a relaxed atmosphere, we discussed key industry trends like changing consumer preferences, the push for sustainability, and the impact of new technologies. As a company that connects with distributors, fabricators, retailers, installers, and suppliers, we know how vital these conversations are for driving innovation.

“The event showed just how valuable these gatherings are for building connections and exploring new opportunities. The positive feedback highlighted the need for more events like this, and we’re excited to see  future WSAA events grow into a central part of the South Australian window shading community.

“We strongly encourage everyone in the industry to join and support the WSAA. We’ve found it to be an invaluable source of information, support, and connections, and as its membership grows, WSAA will continue to benefit the entire industry. You can visit www.wsaa.au for membership details.”
