SuperExpo 2023 set to break records

Issue 88 January 2023

SuperExpo 2023, Australia’s largest trade exhibition for the window furnishings and specialised textiles industries, is set to break records with over 100 exhibitors booked for the show being held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7 – 9 June 2023.

The trade fair, run by the Blind Manufacturers Association of Australia (BMAA) and the Specialised Textiles Association (STA), sold out its allocation of stands in the main four halls of the Centre in 48 hours. The decision was then made to book extra room allowing an additional 34 3×3 metre stands and an extra 16 3×2 metre stands, making this the largest floor area of any SuperExpo.

Geoff Turner, a director of the BMAA, said that with a record number of exhibitors on board, the organising committee would turn its focus to visitors in early 2023.

“From January, registrations will be up and online for the events that’s going to happen over those few days and the official functions that are going to be happening,” Turner said.

“Visitors will also be able to register for the welcome reception on the Tuesday night the 6th of June, the traditional the opening of the show, and the STA awards for excellence on the Wednesday night, the 7th of June with the traditional BMAA Gala dinner on the Friday night – the 9th of June.”

“The BMAA general meeting will also be held during that period and that will be on Thursday the 8th of June.”

In addition to the record number of exhibitors SuperExpo 2023 has 19 sponsors and Turner thanked them for supporting the event.

“It’s amazing it is to see such an overwhelming support for the show, we have some very significant companies exhibiting.”

“The stands seem to get bigger and bigger every time we have the show, but the support has been amazing, we’re all looking forward to a really great show

The SuperExpo 2023 website is also up and running and will be updated with more information as the event date approaches.
