Tiptop opens new showroom

Issue 87 November 2022

Wholesale and retail manufacturer Tiptop Blinds launched its new state-of-the-art showroom located in front of the factory in Clayton (Vic) on 20 September.

The showroom launch was a lunchtime Masterclass event for interior designers by leading industry interior designers Nicole Rosenberg from Liberty Interiors, Romy Dankner from Homeroom Studio and Rachel Collard from R&Co Design Studio, who spoke about the latest trends in window furnishings, the way to select product, fabric, finishes and how to work with budgets.

“It was a privilege to discuss all things design, fabrics and blinds with these extraordinary talented ladies’. A very big thank you to the Tiptop Blinds team for hosting such a fantastic event,” Danker said.

Designers were gifted a sample box that they can take to meetings with clients when selecting window furnishings, it included a brochure showcasing the different options available on the market, a sample roller blind with Tiptop’s unique fabric wrapped bottom rail, sample books of blockout and sheer roller blind fabrics and were treated to a smorgasbord of the latest sheer curtain fabric samples by Mokum, James Dunlop, Warwick, Nettex, Bali, Wilson and Zepel from which they could select their favourites and include in the box.

“Designers were also taken for a tour of the Tiptop Blinds factory where they saw the state-of-the-art machinery used to make our products. The team was surprised to see how interested designers were in seeing the type of machines used to manufacture blinds and Zipscreen blinds for example. They were impressed with the fabric library which means Tiptop is able to stock many of the popular fabrics, minimising wait times.”

“Although it’s only been a month since the event, many of the attending designers, and others who have heard about the event, have turned to Tiptop Blinds asking us to service their clients,” Kinderman said.
