Pinz unveils NSW facility

Issue 87 November 2022

Thursday 6 October saw the official opening of Pinz’s new manufacturing facility, training centre and showroom in Wetherill Park, NSW.

Customers, suppliers, and the wider industry were invited to drop in throughout the day for a factory tour, showroom orientation and to meet the Pinz team.

The open day was then followed by a social function and official opening as an opportunity to get key Pinz friends and supporters together to help celebrate an important milestone for the company.

“We were really pleased to host so many familiar faces and some new friends at our state-of-the-art facility in Western Sydney,” Kate Bessell, Pinz National Sales and Marketing Manager, told WFA.

“Customers were happy to see where and how their blinds are now being made by the Pinz Sydney team, and to explore the opportunities that will follow with Pinz as their new local supplier.”

“Pinz has always been a true national supplier servicing customers Australia wide from our HQ in Adelaide, however the ability to provide local manufacturing for greater Sydney, NSW and the east coast from our new site provides increasing opportunities and improved service delivery for retailers.”

Bessell said the open day also generated significant interest in the company’s new training centre from both existing and new customers.

“Our 2023 training calendar will be released shortly, and we will be offering customers the opportunity to take part in locally delivered training that can be tailored to meet their specific requirements, and a further program of scheduled sessions in both Sydney and Adelaide.”

“We will also be providing customers with the opportunity to use the training facilities and showroom for their own team training sessions with access to product displays, sales collateral, and basic catering facilities to create a comfortable and easily accessible local venue.”

During the formalities, Pinz owner and Managing Director David Snoad thanked everyone for attending and acknowledged the long-term relationships and support from key industry partners as being critical to the success of Pinz over the past 37 years.

Marc de Maiijer, Ziptrak Managing Director, then echoed the sentiment from those present by congratulating Snoad and the Pinz team on this exciting occasion for Pinz.

“There was certainly a lot of love in the room as everyone raised a glass to the achievements of Dave and his team in taking this exciting step and to their ongoing success.”

“On behalf of Dave (David Snoad, MD), Darren (Darren Evans, BDM) and everyone at Pinz, including our new Sydney team, I would like to thank everyone who attended the open day and official opening and for helping to make the day such a success.”

“We are so fortunate to be a part of such an exciting and supportive industry and look forward to working more closely with our east coast customer base.”
