Rollease Acemda has been purchased by US-based JM Family Enterprises, Inc., a privately held company with over $18 billion in revenue and more than 5,000 associates.

Rollease Acmeda was established in 1980 and is headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, with approximately 270 associates across the U.S. and Australia, plus a small presence in Europe, and serves thousands of customers in over 40 countries around the world.

Since 2019, JM Family has acquired eight new companies, which now includes Rollease Acmeda.
In 2014, Rollease acquired Acemda and merged its operations to form Rollease Acmeda, one of the largest independent engineered component manufacturers and distributors in the window coverings industry.
In September 2018, Rollease Acmeda acquired Texstyle, introducing fabric to the company’s offering.
In May 2020, Rollease Acmeda acquired Adelaide-based Waypoint, a leading supplier of window covering components, hardware, fabrics, and shutters serving customers in South Australia, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory.
