Shaw of Australia now has distribution centres in four states after it announced the opening of a new distribution centre in Western Australia.
Located in Perth, the new centre is available for daily dispatch and pickups of its large range of indoor and outdoor fabrics and systems.
To assist its coverage of the western state, a new Business Development Manager, Grant Wells, has been appointed. Wells joins the Shaw sales team with a wealth of experience gained though years in the window coverings industry in production, sales and general management.
The distribution centre and well will be supported by Shaw’s call centre, 8.30am – 4.30pm AEST and AWST, Monday to Friday.
Despite the challenging times presented by COVID-19, Shaw is operating and distributing as normal, with consideration for the safety of its staff an customers. 2020 will also see Shaw continue the roll out their Shaw Outdoor products.
The move in to the outdoor sector commenced last year when Shaw made the strategic acquisition of Bti Industries, a Queensland based company with 25 years’ experience in external systems and components designed in Italy, adapted to Australian and New Zealand conditions.
Shaw Outdoor offers a range of premium quality awning systems in component or kit form, including folding arm, straight drop with channels or wire guide and the verso pivot arm, in both automated or manual control options.
The Shaw Outdoor folding arm awning suite is available in three configurations; Australia R 90, Australia R Pitch and Base Plus full cassette.
The Australia R-90 and R Pitch come in automated or manual options with max width of seven metres, and a 3.6 metre projection, while the Base Plus full Cassette can be automated or manual up to 5.5m width and a 3.1m projection.
Shaw outdoor shading systems can be used with any outdoor fabric including the company’s Dayscreen fabric which is perfect where filtered light and excellent sunscreening is required.
Dayscreen comes in a 5% openness, in a range 16 colours, is Greenguard and Oekotex accredited and is Flame Retardant (tested to AS1530 Part II & III, NFPA 701 (USA), B1 (German)) and carries a 10 year warranty.
